ESC Overview
Environmental Systems Corporation (ESC) has grown from a small, two-person operation into a full-service mechanical engineering and HVAC firm serving commercial, industrial, and government clients across North Alabama. Founded in 1976, ESC has continually expanded its capabilities while staying grounded in a commitment to quality, service, and long-term client relationships. Today the company provides comprehensive, engineering solutions that support commercial facilities and mission-critical environments. That growth has been driven by a consistent focus on doing things the right way and improving with every project.
Our History
1976
Environmental Systems Corporation Founded
The company was originally founded by Russ Grimes and Carol Grimes as a small, two person firm, primarily aimed at maintenance and piping to deal with environmental test chambers on Redstone Arsenal.
2003
ESC Merges with an Engineering Firm, Offering More For Their Customers
In 2003, Environmental Systems Corporation merged with Paul Smith & Associates, a professional consulting engineering firm adding Engineering, Commissioning, Building Automation, Mechanical Construction, and Facility Maintenance all under one roof.
2010
